Who we are
Dax Group Holdings Ltd.(“Dax Group”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller responsible for the personal information we collect through this website. We are based in Aberdeen, United Kingdom and operate under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For any data protection enquiry, contact us at data.protection@dax-group.io.
What information we collect
We collect personal information you provide when you contact us, submit a query or complaint, or otherwise engage with our services. This is limited to:
- Names and contact details: including your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share in the body of an enquiry.
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this website, including cookies and tracking data and server visitor logs. See our cookie settings (in the site footer) for the specific categories you can control.
How we collect information
Most of the information we hold about you is collected through direct interaction; for example, when you submit a contact form, register for an event, request information, or sign up to an offering. We may also receive information from third parties where you have given them permission to share it with us.
Lawful basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we must have a valid lawful basis to process your personal data. The basis we rely on for handling queries, complaints, and claims is your consent: permission you grant after we’ve told you how the data will be used. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing data.protection@dax-group.io; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
How long we keep your data
- Names and contact details: retained for two years after our last interaction, then deleted.
- Cookies and tracking data: retained for six months, then deleted.
- Server visitor logs: retained for one year, then anonymised or deleted.
Your data protection rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you:
- Right of access: request copies of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: ask us to correct or complete information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right to erasure: ask us to delete your personal information, in the circumstances allowed by law.
- Right to restrict processing: ask us to limit how we use your personal information.
- Right to object to processing: object to particular processing activities.
- Right to data portability: request that we transfer your data to you or another organisation.
- Right to withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email data.protection@dax-group.io. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.
